We’re Here to Make Real Change, Not Just Talk About It.

Do the damn thing ⚡️ Do the damn thing ⚡️ Do the damn thing ⚡️ Do the damn thing ⚡️ Do the damn thing ⚡️ Do the damn thing ⚡️ Do the damn thing ⚡️  Do the damn thing ⚡️  Do the damn thing ⚡️  Do the damn thing ⚡️  Do the damn thing ⚡️

At Inkvictus, we believe change doesn’t happen by chance—it happens when people take action. That’s why we’ve poured our time, energy, and passion into making a tangible impact both in and outside our studio. Whether it’s fighting for better tattoo laws, supporting our community, or working to make tattooing more accessible, every step we take is rooted in our commitment to doing better and being better.

Our mission is simple: leave the world better than we found it. From advocating for ethical practices to standing up for those who need it most, we don’t just talk about change—we make it happen.

See below on how we’re taking action:

Tattoos for Everyone, No Matter What

PWYC Flash Tattoos

Tattoos can be so much more than just art—they can bring confidence, healing, and a sense of identity. But for many people, especially those from marginalized communities or facing financial hardships, they’re out of reach. That didn’t sit right with us, so we created the Pay-What-You-Can program.

Here’s How It Works:

  • You pay what you can, no questions asked.
  • We prioritize individuals facing systemic barriers, including financial or social challenges.
  • This program is about creating space for those who might need it most to feel seen, celebrated, and empowered.
  • At Inkvictus, we believe tattoos should be for everyone, no exceptions.

Through this program, we’re doing what we can to make that a reality.

Enter the Pay-It-Forward Program

The Pay-It-Forward Program builds on PWYC Tattoos, allowing clients and community members to join in creating a culture of generosity and support.

Contribute to the Fund: Donations go directly toward covering tattoos for those who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
Support for Artists: The fund also protects our team, ensuring they’re compensated for their time even when appointments fall through.

Expand Accessibility: Every contribution helps someone new experience the life-changing power of a tattoo.

We've always been committed to turning barriers into bridges. This program isn’t just about tattoos—it’s about creating a ripple effect of kindness that touches everyone involved. When art and compassion meet, real change happens, and we’re proud to be a part of that movement.

We believe that true impact goes beyond the walls of our studio—it’s about lifting up those who need it most. That’s why we’re honored to sponsor Gifting Joy, a nonprofit founded by the inspiring Alex Baltazar, dedicated to bringing comfort and practical support to cancer patients. Through personalized care packages, oncofertility treatments, and meal + travel assistance, Alex and her team are creating tangible moments of relief for patients and their families.

Alex’s mission is both simple and powerful: to remind patients they’re never alone. Her beautifully curated packages, filled with thoughtful items like cozy blankets, nourishing snacks, and heartfelt notes, provide a moment of solace and connection during the most challenging times. Last year, Gifting Joy expanded its impact to include oncofertility treatments, offering patients the opportunity to preserve their futures while navigating their battles with cancer.

Through our sponsorship, we’re proud to help Gifting Joy reach even more individuals who need it most. Beyond financial support, we’re dedicated to amplifying Alex’s mission, using our platform to spread the word and rally our community to join this incredible cause.

Together, we can make a difference—one thoughtful gesture at a time.

Fighting for Freedom, Justice, and Equality

True change happens when we show up—not just for ourselves, but for others. At Inkvictus, we believe in using our platform to champion causes that matter, and we’re proud to stand alongside the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of NC in their fight for civil rights and social justice.

To support this mission, we’ve created a dedicated flash sheet, where 100% of the proceeds go directly to the ACLU of NC. These tattoos are more than ink—they’re symbols of solidarity, resilience, and hope. Each design reflects the values we hold dear: equality, freedom, and the courage to stand up for what’s right.

But, again, we understand that impact extends beyond our studio walls. The ACLU offers a wealth of opportunities for those who feel called to contribute outside of tattoos. By volunteering your time, you can take a hands-on role in advocating for marginalized communities, protecting voting rights, and ensuring justice for all.

Want to make a difference?
  • Get a Tiny Tattoo: Choose a design from our ACLU flash sheet, and know your tattoo is making a tangible impact.
  • Volunteer Your Time: Explore the ACLU’s volunteer interest form and find opportunities to support their mission in your community.
  • Share the Cause: Use your voice to amplify this initiative—because every conversation has the power to spark change.

Together, we can fight for a world that values equality, justice, and freedom for all.

Fixing Tattoo and Piercing Laws for Good

Tattooing deserves better. The lack of proper regulations means anyone can pick up a machine or needle and call themselves an artist, putting clients at risk and leaving ethical artists frustrated by a system that doesn’t prioritize safety or education.

We’ve decided it’s time to change that. We’ve written letters to state legislatures, connected with key decision-makers, and even partnered with a local news station—our story is airing soon—to raise awareness about the need for better tattoo laws.

This fight is personal. We want laws that:
  • Enforce safety standards to protect both clients and artists.
  • Require real education and training for anyone entering this craft.
  • Create a framework where ethical practices are the norm, not the exception.

Beyond the legislative fight, our founder has also co-founded the Ethical Artists Collective  with Cori Ryan, located in NYC. The EAC is a global community of artists dedicated to raising the standard in tattooing through integrity, collaboration, and education. While the EAC isn’t directly tied to the petition, its mission aligns with creating a safer, better future for tattooing.

Together, we can ensure tattooing and is safe, ethical, and empowering—for clients, artists, and the art itself.

We’ve taken steps to create real change, but this is just the beginning. Fighting for better tattoo laws, supporting accessibility, and helping those in need isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.

These efforts are only possible because of the people who believe in this mission. Whether it’s signing a petition, sharing the message, or simply being part of the conversation, your support makes a difference.

This is about more than tattooing—it’s about building something better, together.
