Maybe that was growing up in a home that lacked warmth, parents who struggled to express love, a toxic relationship that made us question our worth, or a friendship built on betrayal or lies.

Our “Love, but Make It Real” event is here to do just that - build authentic connections with people who genuinely want the best for each-other. no strings attached, no expectations, just showing up for each-other (+ most importantly, ourselves) in the ways we may not have had the opportunity of experiencing.

We are honored to partner with InterAct of Wake County, a nonprofit dedicated to providing safety, support, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. InterAct offers crisis intervention, counseling, emergency shelter, legal assistance, and essential resources to help survivors rebuild their lives. A portion of the proceeds from this event will directly fund these life-changing services, and we’re also hosting a Cleaning Supplies Drive to collect essentials for survivors transitioning into safe housing. Simple items like disinfectants, laundry detergent, and paper towels may not seem like much, but they provide a fresh start for someone reclaiming their life.
This event is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a testament to survival. It is for those who have carried their pain in silence, those just beginning to understand the weight of their past, and those who are choosing to heal on their own terms. We honor not only the people we’ve become but also the versions of ourselves that had to endure—our inner children who held on through the darkest moments. Today, we step forward together, not just as survivors, but as people reclaiming our voices, our power, and our worth.
Healing doesn’t happen alone—it happens in community. And in a world that often asks us to stay quiet, we choose to be loud. We choose to tell our stories, take up space, and lift each other higher. This event is about marking this moment—our resilience, our survival, and the strength that has carried us here. Through tattoos, storytelling, and shared experience, we come together to create something lasting, something meaningful, something that says: I survived. I am here. I will rise.
